Love building dashboards and telling stories through data? Want to do it while you help define the future of wireless infrastructure powered by blockchain? This is the role for you.

Most of analytics and data for the Helium Network has historically fallen to Helium Inc, grant projects, and incredible volunteer efforts from the community. There’s been meaningful progress to stand-up and improve the public ETL but we’re looking for even more data infrastructure to support stakeholders in the network. If you're strong on analytics, love pulling stories from numbers, and are comfortable creating your own roadmaps, let's talk.

Your Role

  • Manage the Foundation's data pipeline
  • Create and improve dashboards to track relevant network metrics
  • Identify and solve for bottlenecks in data infrastructure and think proactively about how to improve data delivery
  • Deliver data solutions and rich network insights for both network builders (e.g. manufacturers, hotspot hosts) and users of the network (e.g. wireless applications, network management services)
  • Source and support grant projects that will complement your work and improve network analysis

  • Background in data engineering or analytics
  • Self-starter who can design and implement better data management solutions
  • Ability to synthesize across different data sources
  • Experience with common analytics platforms
  • Experience designing intuitive interfaces that leverage large datasets
  • Demonstrates familiarity or has experience with blockchain/crypto or wireless infrastructure

About Us

The Decentralized Wireless Alliance (DeWi) stands on the front line of one of the most exciting paradigm shifts at the intersection of blockchain and wireless technology. As an organization our current goals are to:

  • Drive Helium Network governance and evolve the current framework
  • Educate the public about the benefits of decentralized wireless networks
  • Support and empower a worldwide community of Helium Network builders and users
  • Provide resources to appropriate contributors, typically through our grants program
  • Contribute to Helium blockchain stability and security

As a team-member you’ll work with some of the most innovative thinkers across blockchain and wireless. You’ll have a meaningful impact on real world problems like closing the digital divide and better internet access for underserved areas -- and help usher in the next era of smart devices to better manage city utilities, improve agricultural systems, and create early warning systems. You’ll have a chance to make substantial contributions to industry changing technology with lots of room for personal growth.

2021 has been an incredible year for the Helium Network and there’s far more opportunity ahead.

DeWi is a geographically distributed organization and all open roles are remote.
